The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
